Jammu : A low-intensity explosion took place at a bus stand in Jammu sometime after midnight, reports said.
They said that the explosive material was placed close to a load carrier which has suffered damage.
“I woke up due to a loud explosion. When I got out I saw a big crowd gathered in the area. There was confusion and people were running away from the blast site,” news agency ANI quoted the load carrier driver, who was sleeping inside the vehicle when the blast took place.
No casualties or injuries have been reported, said the report, adding that the security has been beefed up in the area.
Quoting eyewitnesses, it said the incident led to panic and confusion among the locals who rushed to safer areas.
