Government withdraws security from former Minister and PDP leader

KUpwara: In a surprising move on part of the Government, all the security from former Minister Abdul Haq Khan has been withdrawn.

Reports said that Government has withdrawn security comprising local police and CRPF personnel from former Minister and People’s Democratic Party senior leader Abdul Haq Khan.

Haq Khan is a known figure and a senior leader of PDP. He had been the law Minister of Jammu and Kashmir as well.

Haq Khan while talking to Kashmir News Trust said that the move of the Government has baffled him. He alleged the withdrawal of security is only a pressure tactic from BJP.

“If you withdraw security from senior mainstream politicians then nobody in future will dare to join politics,” Khan said adding that such tactics wont break his resolve and he would continue to work for the party.
