Engineering fraternity demands redressal of all long pending issues

Srinagar, Jan 28, : Engineering fraternity Monday said that it feels pride that the administration of all districts of Jammu and Kashmir have recognized, acknowledged and rewarded the token of appreciation to all dedicated team of engineers working in MED, R&B and PHE on the eve 26th January functions.

“The Engineering community is always ready and motivated to work for public welfare in all conditions with sincerity and dedication,” the fraternity said.

Engineer Firdous Bhat President JKMEGA and Er Farooq Ahamed Ganie President JKCEGA while in a statement congratulated all fraternity members for getting appreciated in republic functions in all Districts of J&K but also stressed that this gross root appreciation is being ignored in the selection of state awards and to utter surprise no engineers finds a slot in list of so called state awards.

They also requested the worthy Divisional Commissioners and concerned Deputy Commissioners to plead and support the Engineering community in the redressal of all long pending issues like SRO for ACP, Pay anomaly and one time regularization etc already pending from years in  power corridors.

They again reminded Government to address the long pending issues of engineers at an earliest so that demoralized engineering community will get boost to work for state welfare & not compelled to adopt the protest mode.
