Leopard kills over twenty sheep in Karnah village

 

Karnah, Feb 11 : A leopard strayed into a village in Kandi Jada village of Karnah in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district and killed more than twenty sheep.
The leopard reportedly attacked a herd of sheep and goats killing 20 of them in Kandi Thama hamlet of Karnah Tehsil.
The sheeps belong to Mohd Yousaf Paswal son of Nasir Din resident of Jada.
While talking to News Service Yousaf said, “yesterday night the leopard entered into an animal shed and killed over twenty sheeps. I have only source of income.” Villagers appealed to the wildlife department to depute a team to capture the leopard. (KNS)
