Kashmiri shawl seller attacked in Budgam

Srinagar, March 17:  A Kashmiri shawl seller was allegedly attacked with swords and looted in Kolkatta.

A video of the incident has gone viral  where Shakoor Ahmad Shah from Daharmuna village of Budgam district, is seen saying he was returning from Sealdah to his rented accommodation in Jadavpur when he was intercepted by some persons near Park Circus railway station on Friday evening.

He said they abused him and then assaulted.

“They attacked with a sword and stole my bag carrying Rs 195000,” he said. In video it is seen blood oozing out of his body.
