Two persons held, brown sugar seized

Srinagar, March 16 : Police on Saturday arrested two alleged drug peddlers from Sumbal area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district and seized 900 grams of brown sugar from their possession.

Mohammad Ramzan Dar and Nazir Ahmad Dar, both residents of Shahgund village were arrested in Sumbal area along with 900 grams of brown sugar, a police official said.

A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in this regard and further investigations taken up, he said.
