No Plans to Extend Summer Vacations in Kashmir: Government

Srinagar, Jul 26: The divisional administration of Kashmir announced on Friday that there are no plans to re-announce summer vacations for schools in the region.

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, stated to reporters that the government has no intention of extending summer vacations for Kashmir schools.

“We have already adjusted the school timings in the Kashmir region. Re-announcing summer vacations is not feasible at this time,” he said.

Bidhuri emphasized the importance of maintaining the required number of academic days.

“We need to complete the students’ syllabus within the allotted timeframe, and additional vacations would hinder that,” he explained.

He added that the government is monitoring weather conditions and will make decisions as necessary.
