Two room “illegal” construction comes up inside Sumo Stand Anantnag

Srinagar, April 5 : An illegal construction has come up within Sumo Stand Anantnag in south Kashmir and the authorities on Friday assured to demolish it.

Sources told  that the two room structure was constructed by some persons within the Sumo Stand outside Stadium at Mehandi Kadal in the southern district and the authorities have identified 12 of them.

Municipal Committee Chairman Anantnag Hilal Ahmad Shah when contacted told that no person has been granted for the construction and it would be demolished very soon.

“We have already written to police to provide security so as to demolish the structure,” he said, adding “we have identified 12 persons who have carried out the violation and action as per law will be taken against them. (GNS)
