Forces launch search operation in Baramulla village

Baramulla, May 08 : Forces on Wednesday morning launched a cordon-and-search operation in North Kashmir’s Baramulla village.

Reports reaching Kashmir Indepth said a joint team of forces including Army’s 52 RR, 46 RR, 53 BN CRPF and SOG Baramulla launched a cordon and search operation in Gohan area of Baramulla and conducted house to house search operation in the area.

Reports said a joint team of forces sealed all entry and exit points in the area.

A police officer also confirmed this cordon and search operation to Kashmir Indepth and said following inputs about presence of some militants in the area search operation was launched.

Searches in the area was on when last reports came in.
