More rains expected as wet and widespread rains already predicted

Srinagar, May 12 : A Met department official said that widespread light rain and thundershowers would occur during the next 24 hours in Kashmir valley under the influence of a Western Disturbance (WD), which is active in the region.

“Light rain would occur at isolated places on Sunday,” he said, adding that a fresh WD, which hit the region on Sunday evening, would against result in more rain and thundershowers.
