Two women killed as tree falls their house in Bandipora

Srinagar, June 12 : Two young were killed after a tree fell on their house following a windstorm amid heavy rains at Chandaji area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday morning.

Reports reaching said that a tree came crushing on the house of Arif Hussain at Chandaji area, close to forests.

In the incident, two women died, they said.

The deceased has been identified as Mubeena Bano daughter of Zakir Hussain and Shareefa (33) wife of Arif Hussain.

SSP Bandipora Rahul Malik also confirmed the death of the two women.

He said a police party was rushed to the site to ascertain further details and for the completion of legal formalities. (GNS)
