Justice Masoodi demands transparency in regularisation of daily rated, need based, casual workers

Srinagar, Jun 24 : Senior National Conference leader and Member Parliament Hasnain Masoodi Monday sought transparency in regularisation of daily rated, need based and casual workers.

In a statement issued  from New Delhi, Justice Hasnain Masoodi exhorted authorities to strictly follow rules and regulations and observe utmost transparency while processing regularisation of daily rated, need based and casual workers.

Masoodi expressed concern over alleged attempts to manipulate records in some cases including Central Division, Dachigam, Wildfire Department to show the those engaged in 2017 and afterwards to have been engaged prior to cut off date in terms of Government Notification and those appointed before the fixed date to have been appointed afterwards so as to deprive them of the benefit of regularisation.

Asking for proper scrutiny of records including MRs so that none entitled to benefit under rules is deprived of the benefit nor anyone not entitled included amongst beneficiaries, Justice Masoodi impressed upon the PDD authorities to issue list of the workers from south Kashmir while issuing the list of the beneficiaries from Central and North Kashmir and not to defer regularisation of Workers from South Kashmir.
