Boy drowns in Jehlum in Baramulla, police starts rescue operation

Baramulla, July 21  : A 17-year-old boy drowned in river Jhelum at Drangbal area of Baramulla district on Sunday afternoon.

Reports reaching  said a 17 year old boy identified as Momin Manzoor son of Manzoor Ahmed Dar of Jalsheeri Baramulla was bathing in the Jhelum when he drowned.

They said that police and locals have started tescue operation to retrieve the body.

A Police officer also confirmed the incident  and said a rescue team has been sent to the area to trace the boy. (GNS)
