Traffic Cop, Journalist among ten persons injured in Ananthnag Grenade attack

Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir Police said that ten persons including a traffic cop, a journalist were injured after militants lobbed a grenade in Ananthnag district on Saturday.

Police in a tweet said that militants lobbed the grenade towards the deputy commissioner office Ananthnag, but it exploded on the roadside, causing injuries to at least ten passer-by which including a traffic cop, a Journalist.
The security forces have cordoned off the area to look for the attackers and the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, the officials added.

Police tweet further reads that only minor injuries reported so far in the attack.
