PSA slapped on Shah Faesal

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement leader Shah Faesal has been booked under stringent Public Safety Act (PSA).

The former bureaucrat turned politician is yet another Kashmir leader to be booked under the act which allows detention without trial.

Earlier, three former chief ministers — Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti — and other top-rung political leaders were booked under PSA after they completed six months in detention.

Faesal had quit the administrative services last year in January and launched his own political party — Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement.
