Man injured after hit by axe during scuffle in Bandipora village

Bandipora, Feb 16: A man was injured after hit by an axe during scuffle last evening in Watrina village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.


Witnesses said that the man identified as Javid Ahmad was hit by an axe on his nose during a scuffle that broke between two neighbours last evening.


They said that a scuffle broke between two neighbours over some issue and in the fit of rage Javid’s neighbour hit him on his nose with an axe.


”He was later taken to DH Bandipora for treatment from where he was referred to Srinagar hospital for specialized treatment, ” said an official.


Police have registered a case in the regards under FIR No. 11 under section 307 IPC and further investigations have been taken up.–
