DDC flagged off students rally
BUDGAM, MARCH 02: The District Development Commissioner, Budgam Tariq Hussain Ganai today flagged off environment awareness rally of students from BHSS Budgam.
Chief Education Officers, Fatima Tak, District PCB Officer, Fiaz Ahmad, students and other local youth were present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, the DDC said that to conserve ecology and environment every individual has to play role and collective efforts from of stake holder are need of the hour as we have to start from.
He said that people should avoid littering lanes, roads, surroundings, water bodies and public places and should say no to single use plastic.
On the occasion, the DDC administered pledge to all participants to make this movement a success.
Highlighting the need and importance to save environment, the CEO Budgam, Principal HSS Budgam, District Pollution Control Board Officer also spoke on the occasion.
