‘Alleged Unhygienic’ poultry farm irks Qamarwari residents

Srinagar 3 April (KINS): Residents of Qamarabad Srinagar are aghast over the “unhygienic” poultry farm in the area.

The residents alleged that poultry farm in Qamarabad Qamarwari has no proper waste disposal.

“Amid COVID-19, unhygienic condition and bad smell emanate from poultry farm can become a reason for outbreak of contagious diseases in the locality.” One of the local residents told this KINS reporter over phone.

“There are many residential areas around this poultry farm, which have to bear its brunt. The bad smell emanating from poultry farm has made lives of people hell,” another local claimed.

Residents have appealed Mayor Srinagar Municipal Corporation to look into the matter. (KINS)
