Bandipora Police recovers illicit timber

April 30: Police in Bandipora recovered illicit timber dumped in a residential house at Kaloosa area of Bandipora.

Acting on specific information officers from Police Station Bandipora raided the residential house of Maqsood Ahmad Khan resident of Kaloosa area of Bandipora. During the search officers were able to recover illegal timber dumped in the premises of the house.

A case FIR No. 41/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Bandipora & investigation into the matter has been initiated.
