Covid-19: District Doda receives 222 reports, all tested reported negative

DODA, JUNE 04: District Doda today received 222 reports of samples sent for Covid-19 tests and all of them are reported negative by the designated testing labs.

Over 222 samples which are tested negative today includes persons shifted in administrative quarantine across the district as well as of many fruit and vegetable shopkeepers, butchers and barbers of Thathri and Gandoh sub division.

Officers of health department informed that on the directions of District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode random sampling of many fruit and vegetable sellers, butchers, barbers, milk sellers etc were conducted across the district and out of which many of them from Thathri and Gandoh sub division are reported negative while some reports are still pending.

Moreover, it has been revealed by the health authorities that 31 persons identified in the contact tracing of Pranoo positive case are today reported negative and accordingly discharged from the respective quarantine centre in presence of the designated Nodal officers for further home quarantine as per set SOP.

It is pertinent to mention here that there are 25 active Covid-19 cases across the district so far and the reports of 767 tests are still awaited.
