Srinagar, June 13 (KINS): Police in Bandipora held a Prize Distribution Ceremony of Online Competition in Painting & Acting at DPL Bandipora.
According to police statement issued to news agency kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS) the prize distribution ceremony was chaired by SSP Bandipora Sh Rahul Malik-IPS and other senior officers of the District. The competition was held online in different age groups junior (below 18 years) and senior categories (18-30 years) for both boys and girls of district Bandipora.
SSP Bandipora in his address to the participants appreciated the success and intelligence of students as well as the organizers for mobilizing such a unique event. He said that it is a smart & brilliant use of technology one could go through apart from many others.
He also stressed upon the young budding artists of the district to allow their minds to explore their own thoughts and imagination through the medium of art.
Notably, the competition was organized on the theme of Social distancing, Environmental Conservation, Personal Hygiene and Sanitation. The online competition had received an overwhelming response from the youth of the district.
The winners of the competition were honoured with cash prize, trophies and appreciation certificates.(KINS)
