Second militant killed in ongoing Ananthnag Gunfight

Srinagar, July 13 (KINS) : One more militant has been killed in an ongoing gunfight at Srigufara area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday, taking the toll to 2.

An official told KINS that “One more militant has been killed in the operation . He said a lady was also injured in the initial stage of gunfight and is said to be stable.

Earleir, Army’s 03 RR and E/116 of CRPF launched a cordon-and-search-operation in Srigufara following inputs about the presence of some militants in the area.

Five militants have been killed in the last 24 hours in Kashmir valley in two different gunfights.

On Sunday three militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba militant outfit were killed in a Reban area of Sopore.(KINS)
