Grievance redressal camp held in Awantipora

PULWAMA, AUGUST 18: In view of the emerging drought like conditions due to scanty rainfall in certain areas, a grievance redressal camp was held at Awantipora under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner.

The camp was organised in the backdrop of receding water level in the river Jhelum and other Nallahs besides the influx of scores of complaints being received on daily basis regarding the Irrigation schemes and non functioning of lift irrigation pumps.

The camp was held with participants strictly following the social distancing norms & SOPs of COVID-19.

Among others, the camp was attended by all the officers of the line departments including mechanical irrigation division, Irrigation and Flood Control , Irrigation Construction Division, Jal Shakti etc.
