Health & ME Department refutes news report


Srinagar, Sep 24 (KINS): Government Medical College Jammu has rebutted a news report which was telecasted on a private news channel that COVID-19 and non Covid patients have been kept in the same wards for treatment by Hospital administration.
Terming the new story baseless and concocted, the department has clarified that Principal GMC Jammu said that the patients are immediately segregated after Rapid Antigen Testing (RAT).
It further said that Isolation ward, CCU, Neurosurgery, ward no 3 & 7 are exclusively dedicated for the treatment of Covid-19 patients while the other patients who are tested Covid negative are sent to the respective departments for further treatment.
