Four suspects arrested by Anantnag Police in the death case of youth from Srinagar in Pahalgam Hotel

Srinagar, Jan 06 (KINS) Police Station Pahalgam made arrests in the case of death of Srinagar youth namely Mubashir Sajad Dar and arrested four suspects.

On 28th December 2020, PS Pahalgam received an information about the death of one youth from Srinagar namely Mubashir Sajad Dar son of Sajad Ahmad Dar resident of Khanyar. Upon receipt of the information an inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC was initiated in Police Station Pahalgam. During the course of proceedings under 174 CrPC, all the medico-legal formalities were completed and a SIT headed by SDPO Pahalgam was formed by SSP Anantnag Shri Sandeep Chaudhary-IPS. During the course of proceeding, many suspects including the friends of deceased who had accompanied him to Pahalgam were questioned. Modern technical methods were used to collect evidence which led to some suspects.

On the basis of investigation conducted during the course of inquest proceedings, case FIR No. 02/2021 under relevant sections of law was registered in PS Pahalgam. During the course of investigation following suspects including drugs dealer who supplied them heroin have been arrested.
1.Usman Ali Baba resident of Wanabal Srinagar.
2.Kateeb Ali Buch resident of Wanabal Srinagar.
3.Oman Aftab Dar resident of Hyderpora Srinagar.

  1. The Drugs Dealer – Reyaz Ahmad Dar resident of Hassanpora Tavela Bijbehera.

Further investigation of the case is going on.(KINS)
