DIC Samba hosts awareness workshop on GEMS, TReDs, IDS 2017, Atmanirbhar Bharat and PMEGP


Jammu Jan 29 (KINS): A Training cum Awareness workshop regarding GEMS, TReDs, IDS 2017, Atmanirbhar Bharat and PMEGP and other schemes and Incentives of Industries and Commerce Department and related departments was today held here at Hotel Rex, SIDCO Samba.
The event was hosted by the District Industries Centre, Samba and   Director Industries and Commerce Jammu, Anoo Malhotra was the chief guest on the occasion, while around 100 industrialists of the district participated in it.
In the Awareness programme, the resource persons and guest faculty of RBI, SBI Bank, J&K Bank, MSME and other departments delivered lectures on the process of registration of MSME unit of Manufacturing sector on GEMs platform, TRESS, Udyam Platform for their benefit. They also informed the participants about the handholding being provided by the concerned Departments to the entrepreneurs regarding different Business reforms and for boosting the economy of industrial establishments in J&K.
The Director Industries and Commerce appreciated the efforts of officers/ officials and entrepreneurs for this informative interaction and also highlighted the main points of new industrial policy and for exploring the vast potential of J&K in manufacturing and service sector.
An impressive lecture was delivered by  Vinus Sharma, professor GDC Sarba regarding GEMs platform, Anil Kumar Rishi (from RBI) regarding TReDs and  Veenu li Koul regarding Udyam Registration.
General Manager, DIC Samba, Sansar Chand thanked  the Director Industries and Commerce Jammu, for sparing her valuable time to grace the occasion.
The officers and officials present in programme were Anil Kumar Rishi from RBL; Vinus Sharma, Professor GDC Samba;  Ajay Koul, LDM Samba;  Veenu li Koul from MSME, Cluster Head J&K Bank Samba; Functional Managers DIC Samba Sandeep Kumar and Varun Bhasin and other field functionaries.
President Small and Tiny Industrial Association Samba, General Secretary, Industrial Association Samba and the Programme also witnessed the presence of 80-100 prominent industrialists of District Samba. (KINS)
