949 Constables of J&K Armed Police promoted as Sg.Constables

Jammu March 04, 2021: – Addl. Director General of Police Armed J&K A.K Choudhary issued promotion orders of 949 Constables of J&K Armed Police to the rank of Sg.Constables vide an order No.167 of 2021 dated 03.03.2021, issued by APHQ J&K Jammu yesterday.
The promotion orders were issued by the Armed Police Headquarters J&K Jammu after the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) headed by ADGP Armed J&K A.K Choudhary-IPS found them fit for their promotion as Sg.Constable.
ADGP Armed J&K A.K Choudhary-IPS congratulated the newly promoted Sg.Constables and their families. He expressed hope that the promoted officials will continue to work with the same zeal and zest and discharge their duties honestly and professionally, upholding the sanctity of public service.
The ADGP Armed J&K appreciated the efforts put in place by his Staff Officer Shri Mahmood Ahmad-SSP and his team of officers for collection and scrutiny of service records and preparation of data of such a huge number of officials in a shortest possible time. The ADGP also complimented DPC members viz Zubair Ahmad Khan-SSP Commandant IRP-6th Bn., Amit Gupta-SSP Commandant IRP-16th Bn., Mohammad Shafi Rather-CPO APHQ, Abdul Hamid-DySP (Pers.) APHQ, Sajad Hussain-DySP(S) Pvt. Secretary to ADGP Armed J&K, Faheem Ahmad-SI Incharge Training Section APHQ, Krishan Saroop Rathore-ASI Incharge R&D Section APHQ, Suresh Kumar-ASI(M) Incharge AED Section APHQ and Firdous Ahmad-HC DA Accounts Section for their vigorous efforts in accomplishing the promotion process of the officials within the given time.
