Over one crore 94 lakh people administered Covid-19 vaccine in India so far

Srinagar, Mar 06 (KINS): The Union Health Ministry Saturday informed that more than one crore 94 lakh 97 thousand doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to the beneficiaries in India so far.
According to news agency KINS, the Health and Family Welfare Ministry today informed that a total of 14 lakh 92 thousand 201 doses of vaccines were administered to the beneficiaries in the last 24 hours.
“The country’s COVID-19 recovery rate reached 96.98 per cent with the total recovery of more than 14 thousand patients in the last 24 hours. More than one crore eight lakh patients have already recovered from this disease. Presently, the total number of active cases in the country is one lakh 80 thousand 304 which comprises only 1.61 per cent of the total positive cases,” it said.
“A total number of 18 thousand 327 new cases have been reported in the country in the past 24 hours taking the cumulative positive cases to over one crore 11 lakh. 108 deaths have been reported during the last 24 hour taking the toll to over one lakh 57 thousand across the country,”.
“The Indian Council of Medical Research said that various laboratories have conducted more than seven lakh 51 thousand tests of coronavirus samples during the last 24 hours and more than 22 crore six lakh tests have been done in the country so far,” the ministry added. (KINS)
