  DDC Kulgam inaugurates playfield at D H Pora

KULGAM, JULY 09(KINS): The District Development Commissioner, (DDC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today inaugurated a playfield at Damhal Hanji Pora (D H Pora) here.

This is a maiden playfield in the village and was a long pending demand of the youth of the area and has been constructed and developed by the Rural Development Department with an estimated cost of 17.87 lacs.

At the inaugural function, the DDC said that the Administration is focused on developing sports infrastructure across the district in order to channelise the energy of youth towards sports activities.

Present on the occasion were ACD, Mohammad Imran Khan, ACR, Mir Imitiyaz-ul-Aziz, BDO, Tehsildar, and other officers.

Besides PRI members and a good number of people from the area were also present on the occasion.

Later, the DDC inaugurated a Cricket League and interacted with the players who extended their gratitude to the administration for developing a playfield in the village. (KINS)
