RAJOURI, JULY 12(KINS): Sunderbani Forest Range today conducted three plantation drives at GMS Marchola, GMS Salheri and Govt. Sub Centre Salheri.
Sarpanch Panchayat Halqa Marchola, Sukhdev Kour and Sarpanch Panchayat Halqa Hathal-B Capt. Bal Krishan, Naib Sarpanch, Nishu Sharma took active part in the plantation drive.
Respective Members of the Biodiversity Management Committee were also present at all the plantation drives.
The Panches and locals of the respective Panchayats besides staff of schools and Health Sub Centre Salheri also participated in the plantation drive.
Sarpanches lauded the efforts of Forest Department for conducting plantation drives. Block Officer Dharamsaal, Ved Parkash along with staff of the block successfully conducted the plantation drive.
The drive was conducted under the close supervision of B. Mohandas, Conservator of Forests West Circle Rajouri; Suresh Manda, Divisional Forest Officer Nowshera and Rakesh Verma, Range officer Sunderbani. (KINS)
