Srinagar, Jul 17 (KINS) Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory (UT) Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday paid tributes to former minister Girdhari Lal Dogra on his birth anniversary.
In a tweet on official Twitter profile of The Office of Lt Governor, Mr Sinha said “Remembering Shri Girdhari Lal Dogra ji, former Minister of J&K on his birth anniversary.He was a visionary leader who served people of J&K for a long time in various capacities & always worked for upliftment of poor & downtrodden sections of society. My sincere tributes to him.”
Former minister Dogra served twice Member of Parliament (MP) and six times MLA. Dogra was father in law of former Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. (KINS)
