DC Shopian reviews performance of SEHAT scheme

SHOPIAN, JULY 20 ( KINS ): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today convened a meeting of all concerned to review the implementation and performance made so far under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PMJAY) SEHAT scheme in the district.

The DC while assessing the performance made under this health scheme directed all the concerned officers and staff to work in a mission mode to convert maximum of the IPD admissions into the beneficiaries under the scheme.

He asked them to train the Arogya Mitras of every health institution so that they employ all the knowledge and skill to help people to receive the benefit.

On the occasion the Chief Medical Officer Shopian, Dr Arshid Hussain briefed the chair in detail about the status of the work done by the concerned.

Among others, the meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Zainapora, Chief Medical Officer, all Tehsildars, Block Medical Officers of the district and other concerned. ( KINS )
