Enumeration, survey of Migratory Tribal Population: DC Kathua reviews progress  

KATHUA, JULY 26 ( KINS): Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Rahul Yadav today reviewed the progress of enumeration and Survey of Nomadic/Migratory tribal population in the District, here in a meeting held  at DC office complex.

At the outset of the meeting, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Atul Gupta (District Nodal Officer) briefed the chair about the progress of Enumeration.

Similarly, SDM Bani, Tehsildar Basohli & Tehsildar Lohai Malhar also apprised the DC about the progress of enumeration in their respective jurisdictions.

While reviewing the status of the enumeration, the DC asked the concerned Tehsildars to expedite the progress & complete the survey by or before 28th of July 2021 and submit the filled-in schedules/formats duly scrutinised by the concerned Sub-District/Sub-Division Level committees constituted by the office of DC Kathua so that the survey report is finalized and submitted to the Tribal Affairs Department, J&K well in time.

Divisional Forest Officer (T) Kathua, Billawar & Basohli, Chief Planning Officer Kathua, District Statistics & Evaluation Officer Kathua, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Kathua, District Sheep Husbandry Officer Kathua and Tehsildar Bani were also present in the meeting. ( KINS)
