Northern Army Cdr visits Kishtwar to review security situation & operational readiness

Srinagar, Nov 18 (KINS): Lt Gen MV Suchindra Kumar, the Army Commander of Northern Command, accompanied by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps and the GOC of the CIF (D), visited Kishtwar on Sunday to review the security situation in the border district.
News agency KINS reported that the senior officers were briefed on the operational preparedness and ongoing counter-insurgency operations aimed at maintaining peace and stability in the area.
During the visit, the leadership discussed the current security challenges and assessed the effectiveness of ongoing military strategies to address them.
The Army Commander emphasized the importance of maintaining high levels of readiness and coordination to ensure that the security forces are fully prepared to tackle any emerging threats.(KINS)
