SRINAGAR, AUGUST 02: The Director Agriculture Kashmir, Chowdhary Mohammad Iqbal today inaugurated Cleanliness drive (Swachhta Pakhwada) at Agriculture Complex Lalmandi here.
The Pakhwada is being celebrated from 1st of August to 15th of August 2021. During this 15 days drive the cleanliness campaign will be conducted in all the departmental offices throughout the Valley.
During today’s event while participating in the cleanliness drive the Director highlighted the importance of cleanliness amid Covid-19 scenario. He impressed upon the employees working in Directorate of Agriculture and its subordinate offices to promote cleanliness to keep the environment clean.
He said that cleanliness is the best service to mankind and ‘Swachita hi Sewa’ should be the driving force while performing the day to day professional duties. He asked the employees of the department to maximize the benefit of Swachta Pakhwada so that a clean hygienic working atmosphere could be created.
Joint Director Agriculture Extension, Joint Director Inputs, Joint Director Marketing, Joint Director Farms, Joint Director Mushroom and Apiculture, Deputy Director Agriculture Central besides all officers and officials participated in the campaign. ( KINS )
