KUPWARA, AUGUST 04 ( KINS ) : As part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ , district administration, Kupwara launched a fortnight Cleanliness drive (Swachhta Pakhwada), here today.
In this regard, all district and sectoral officers have initiated cleanliness drive in their respective offices and other subordinate units, schools, hospitals, Panchayat ghars, parks and other public places.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the cleanliness drive under Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsa will continue for 15 days in the district.
The Swachhta Pakhwada was also held at Subdivision level Handwara, Karnah and Sogam.
Meanwhile, other district officers including Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Education Officer, CAO, CMO and others have started cleanliness drive in their respective jurisdictions.
