DC Pulwama reviews preparedness of containment of Covid-19 at DH Pulwama

Inspects adherence to CAB, facilities extended to patients, punctuality of staff

PULWAMA, OCT 2 ( KINS): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Baseer Ul Haq Chowdhary today visited District Hospital Pulwama to review the preparedness of containment of Covid, inspect adherence to Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) and healthcare facilities being extended to patients especially in the wake of 3rd wave of COVID-19 besides, checking punctuality of doctors and paramedical staff in the health institution.

He stressed upon the concerned to strictly implement CAB in the institution to contain the spread of virus and also gave on spot directions to the MS, DH Pulwama that they should bring a more vibrant change in their approach while monitoring Covid Specific SOPs.

The DC directed concerned not to allow entry of any unmasked attendant in the hospital premises and enjoined upon them to allow only vaccinated attendants to accompany sick patients.

Chowdhary reviewed the sanitation condition, attendance of doctors and staff members, stock position of medicines and other equipment.

He also inspected various wards and casualty interacted with the patients and attendants and enquired about the facilities being extended to them by the hospital. He directed the CMO to ensure duty roster of doctors and paramedical staff on notice boards besides displaying the stock position of medicines and other available facilities.Chief Medical Officer, Medical Superintendent DH and other staff members were present on the occasion.( KINS)
