Cultural Unit of JDI-K performs ‘Nukkad Natak’ at SKIMS, Soura

 

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 06 ( KINS): To be more aware and to take immediate precautions to stop further spread of Covid pandemic and its subsequent 3rd wave, a Nukkad Natak (street play) was today performed by the Cultural Unit of Joint Directorate of Information Kashmir at OPD ward of Sher-i- Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Soura, Srinagar.

The Nukkad Natak was organised in collaboration with Firdoos Drama Club, and was part of the ongoing monthly Calendar of programs of the department under ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’.

On the occasion, the artists presented the skit through which they raised awareness among the large gathering of attendants and patients to avoid the mass gathering, wear masks, keep social distance and act upon SOPs in letter and spirit to prevent further spread of virus.

The officers of the department were also present at the event and it was informed that such kind of street plays have already been conducted at different hospitals of the valley to raise awareness among masses regarding strict implementation of Covid-19 related SOPs to prevent its 3rd wave.( KINS)
