Srinagar , Dec 31 ( KINS) Dr Parvaiz Ahmad Koul Ex-professor and Head of department General medicine has been appointed as the new director of Sher e Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) .
“As approved by the Chairman, Governing Body, SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar (Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, J&K), Dr. Parvaiz Ahmad Koul, Ex-Professor and Head of Department, General Medicine, SKIMS, is hereby appointed as Director, Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, Srinagar with effect from 01.01.2022.”reads the order issued by Manoj Kumar Dwivedi Commissioner/secretary to the government.
Earlier,15 candidates were shortlisted for the post of Director, Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura, Srinagar.
Those who were shortlisted include: Dr Yogesh Kumar Sarin, De Nisar Ahmad Bhat, Dr Altaf Umar Ramazan, Dr Omar Javed Shah, Dr Showkat Ali Mufti, Dr Parvaiz Ahmad Koul, Dr Ghulam Nabi Lone, Dr Bashir Ahmad Laway, Dr Showkat Ahmad, Dr Naseer Ahmad Mir, Dr Reyaz Ahmad Untoo, Dr Adil Hafeez Wani, Dr Mohammad Saleem Wani, Dr Abdul Wahid Khan and Dr Tariq Ahmad Gojwari.( KINS)
