DGP J&K Conducts Third Public Grievances Redressal Program at PHQ, Jammu

Jammu, December 11: Director General of Police (DGP) Shri R.R. Swain conducted the third Public Grievances Redressal Program at PHQ, Jammu, part of an ongoing series to address public concerns directly.
During the four-hour session, 125 individuals, including women from various regions, participated, presenting their grievances to the DGP. He attentively listened to each concern, emphasizing the commitment of Jammu and Kashmir Police to resolving public grievances related to police services in the UT. The DGP issued immediate directives to relevant police units for prompt resolution and assured that progress updates on suitable cases would be shared via WhatsApp. The initiative aims to effectively address public concerns and enhance police services, explicitly excluding recruitment of Special Police Officers (SPOs) or handling general transfer requests.
