Union Minister Smriti Irani Embarks on Historic Journey to Madinah

Srinagar, Jan 08: In a landmark visit showcasing cultural and spiritual engagement, Union Minister Smriti Irani undertook a momentous journey to Madinah, one of Islam’s holiest cities.
The visit included exploration of key historical sites, including the revered Prophet’s Mosque, Al Masjid Al Nabwi, the mountain of Uhud, and the periphery of the Quba Mosque – recognized as the first Mosque of Islam.
During her visit, Minister Irani expressed her deep appreciation for the rich historical significance of these sacred locations, which are intricately woven into the tapestry of early Islamic history.
