Jammu, January 29: Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, Chairman Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Kargil called on Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan, today.
A delegation of residents of Katra led by Sh Baldev Raj Sharma, former Legislator and President Holy Town Katra Stakeholders Development Forum apprised the Lt Governor of various development issues of Katra including Heritage status to the Holy town, strengthening rail and ropeway connectivity, refinement of Parikarma routes, development of main market, modernization of Sewerage system and establishment of Spiritual Theme Park.
Later, Sh Sanjay Kulshrestha, Chairman & Managing Director, Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) also called on the Lt Governor.
