Police Engage with Families of Police Martyrs in Sopore

Srinagar, Feb 01:The Sopore police conducted a meeting with the Next of Kin (NOKs) of police martyrs at DPL Sopore.
Led by SP Sopore Divya D-IPS and DySP DAR Sopore Dr. Hilal Ahmad Hilal,the meeting aimed to assess the welfare of the families of Police Martyrs who made the ultimate sacrifice in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty and integrity. SP Sopore assured the NOKs of unwavering support and commended their loved ones for their selfless dedication to the nation. She reiterated J&K Police’s commitment to honoring their service by fostering peace and stability.

Emphasizing the bond between the Martyrs’ families and the Police department, SP Sopore encouraged open communication, urging them to consider the department as their extended family, ready to address their concerns at any time.

During the interaction, the Martyr families voiced various genuine grievances, receiving assurances that their issues would be promptly addressed through proper channels. Subsequently, the NOKs expressed satisfaction and expressed their desire to strengthen their relationship with the J&K Police Department further.
