Jammu & Kashmir Lok Sabha Election 2024: Voting Divided into Five Phases, Results on June 4

Srinagar, Mar 16: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has officially announced the schedule for the Lok Sabha elections in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) for the year 2024. According to the announcement, the electoral process will be conducted over five phases, with the results anticipated to be disclosed on June 4.
The constituencies of Baramulla, Srinagar, Anantnag-Rajouri, Udhampur, and Jammu will each undergo voting in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Phase 1 of the voting is scheduled for April 19, followed by Phase 2 on April 26, Phase 3 on May 7, Phase 4 on May 13, and finally Phase 5 on May 20. The counting of votes for the Jammu & Kashmir Lok Sabha elections 2024 will take place on June 4.
Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar unveiled the entire schedule for the Lok Sabha elections 2024, spanning seven phases from April 19 to June 1. With this announcement, the model code of conduct (MCC) has been immediately implemented.
Regarding the Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), CEC Rajiv Kumar expressed the Election Commission’s steadfast commitment to conducting them promptly after the Lok Sabha elections.
