MD KPDCL Mussarat Islam & CE (Dist) Er. Sandeep Seth Visit Disaster Management Control Room in Electronics Park, Rangreth

Srinagar, Mar 30: Managing Director of Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), Mussarat Islam, accompanied by Chief Engineer (Distribution) Er. Sandeep Seth, paid a visit to the Disaster Management Control Room situated at Rangreth Railway Station in Electronics Park.
The visit aimed to review the preparedness and coordination of disaster management measures within the region.
During the visit, Mussarat Islam and Er. Sandeep Seth were joined by Er. Farooq Ahmad, EE, STD 2, and several other KPDCL staff members.
A comprehensive briefing was conducted, highlighting the protocols and strategies in place for managing emergencies and disasters effectively.
The officials discussed various aspects of disaster response, including rapid deployment of resources, communication strategies, and coordination with relevant agencies. They emphasized the importance of proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of residents in the event of natural calamities or emergencies.
Mussarat Islam commended the efforts of the Disaster Management Control Room personnel and stressed the need for continuous training and awareness programs to enhance preparedness at all levels.
