DIG Sudhir Verma of SSB Jammu Presents “स्वयंसिद्धा” Coffee Table Book to DGP R.R. Swain in Celebration of SSB’s Diamond Jubilee

Srinagar, Apr 06: DIG Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) Jammu, Sudhir Verma, paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir, R.R. Swain, at the Police Headquarters in Jammu.
During the meeting, DIG Verma presented the coffee table book titled “स्वयंसिद्धा” to DGP Swain, marking the occasion of SSB’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
Expressing gratitude for the gesture, DGP Swain commended DIG Sudhir Verma and the SSB for their efforts and contributions. He reiterated the commitment of the Jammu and Kashmir Police to extend unwavering support and cooperation to further strengthen the partnership between the two organizations.
The “स्वयंसिद्धा” Coffee Table book showcases the significant role and invaluable contributions of women in SSB towards border guarding and nation-building endeavors. Notably, SSB began inducting women into its ranks in 2007, highlighting their dedication and pivotal role in safeguarding the nation’s borders and upholding its security interests.
