Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha Extends Condolences Over Srinagar Boat Tragedy

Srinagar, Apr 16: The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, conveyed his heartfelt condolences following a tragic boat accident in Srinagar. In a tweet, he expressed deep sorrow for the loss of lives and extended sympathies to the affected families.

“I am deeply grieved by the loss of lives due to a boat accident in Srinagar. My thoughts are with the bereaved families & I pray to the Almighty to give them strength to withstand this immense loss,” the tweet read.

Acknowledging the ongoing relief and rescue efforts, Lt. Governor Sinha assured that teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Army, and other agencies are actively engaged in the operation. Additionally, he affirmed the administration’s commitment to providing all necessary assistance to the families who have lost their loved ones and ensuring medical support for the injured.

Furthermore, Lt. Governor Sinha highlighted the readiness of Marcos teams, emphasizing his continuous monitoring of the situation and guidance to the ground teams.

The tragic incident has prompted a swift response from authorities, with efforts underway to mitigate the impact and provide support to those affected by the unfortunate event.
