SSP Anantnag Takes Stock of Election Arrangements with Senior Officers Ahead of LS Elections-2024

Srinagar, Apr 27: SSP Anantnag, Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakarvarthy-IPS, embarked on a visit to various camping locations in Anantnag to assess the preparations in place for the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections of 2024.
Accompanied by DIG CRPF Anantnag, K.S. Deswal, and other senior officers of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and the police department, the visit aimed to ensure seamless arrangements for the electoral process.
With the elections looming, the visit focused on reviewing the deployment of security personnel, the setup of polling stations, and other logistical arrangements essential for conducting free and fair elections.
SSP Anantnag emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order during the electoral process and ensuring the safety and security of voters and polling staff.
The collaborative effort between the police department and CAPF underscored the commitment to uphold the democratic principles and facilitate a smooth electoral process in Anantnag.
