Terrorist Neutralized in Kupwara Operation: Army

Srinagar, July 24: The Indian Army stated that based on specific input regarding the presence of terrorists in the general area of Kowut, Kupwara, a Joint Search Operation was launched by the Indian Army and J&K Police on the days leading up to July 23, 2024.
“On July 24, suspicious movement was observed and challenged by vigilant troops. In response, the terrorists opened indiscriminate fire. In the ensuing firefight, one terrorist was eliminated, and a non-commissioned officer (NCO) was injured. The operation is currently in progress”.
