Irfan Manhas, Vice DDC Shopian & Former Youth General Secretary of Apni Party, Joins BJP Alongside Prominent Figures in Srinagar

Srinagar, Sep 12 (KINS):Irfan Manhas, the former Youth General Secretary of the Apni Party (J&K) and Vice District Development Council (DDC) of Shopian, along with several notable personalities from the region, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Srinagar.
According to BJP Jammu Kashmir Unit Statment, the event was held at the party headquarters in Jawahar Nagar, with Ashok Koul, BJP General Secretary (Organization) for J&K, leading the induction ceremony.
Ashok Koul warmly welcomed Irfan Manhas and the other new members, highlighting the increasing trust in the BJP’s vision for Jammu and Kashmir. He lauded their decision to join the party, describing it as a reflection of the growing faith in BJP’s policies and its commitment to the region’s development.
Irfan Manhas, son of Zafar Iqbal Manhas, a former Member of Parliament (MP) candidate, expressed his gratitude to the BJP leadership. He cited the party’s developmental agenda and efforts to bring peace and prosperity to Jammu and Kashmir as key factors behind his decision. Manhas emphasized his belief that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the aspirations of the region’s youth and people would be effectively addressed.
Javid Qadri, BJP’s Assembly candidate from Shopian, also welcomed the new entrants, affirming their collective commitment to work for the betterment of the Union Territory. The event was attended by senior BJP leaders, including Media Incharge Adv Sajid Yousuf Shah, party workers, and supporters, all of whom celebrated the new additions with enthusiasm.(KINS)
